BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

 

Please be aware that while microneedling is highly effective for the treatment of acne scarring and textured skin, it is not advised for those with active acne or lesions.  

Use of the drug Accutane is a contraindication!

Please avoid the following for 24-48 hours prior to your procedure:

• Excessive sun exposure/burns

• Topical retinoids

• Autoimmune therapies

• Blood thinners

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

 

Redness and mild irritation will be present for about 24 hours following treatment

• You may gently use a damp cloth or wipe to clean the area treated

• Use Skinfuse Lift Gel provided to keep the area moisturized for 24 hours

•  Avoid sweaty exercise or sun exposure for 3 days

• Do not use topical retinoids for 3 days

• Avoid other skin treatments over the area for approximately 1 month

 

 Always be sure to use sunblock after 24 hours as skin will be more sensitive and prone to sunburn!
