BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please be sure none of the following apply to you:

• Pregnant/Nursing

• Under 18 years old

• Have myesthenia gravis or other neuromuscular disease

• Recent eye surgery (including LASIX) one month prior or one month post treatment

Please avoid the following for 24-48 hours prior to your procedure if possible, as they can increase risk or bruising:

• Aspirin, Ibuprofen/NSAIDs, prescription blood thinners

• Nicotine and nicotine-containing products

• Excessive caffeine (one serving per day is OK)

• Vitamin E, Fish Oil Supplements

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

​

• Do not go to sleep or lay flat for 4 hours

•  Avoid exercise for 24 hours

• Do not undergo other facial treatments, or touch your face aside from gentle cleansing for 24 hours

• Avoid excessive alcohol

 

Minor headache, redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or tingling may be present for up to 24 hours.

Although extremely uncommon- If you develop any trouble swallowing, breathing, speaking or vision impairment, please contact your healthcare provider immediately.
