MICROBLADING

PRE-CARE

It is preferred that you don't have newly plucked or waxed brows when coming in, so that I can see where your natural brows grow.  This way I can shape your brows from scratch, and use as much of the natural hair as possible in the new brows!

For optimal results, here are some things to be cautious to avoid:

  • Minimize alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior to your microblading procedure as they are natural blood thinners (one cup of morning coffee is ok!)

  • For first time brow clients- avoid botox treatments in the forehead area for 2 weeks prior

  • Avoid Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oils, or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before your procedure - Tylenol is OK.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure/ no sunburned skin

  • Avoid facial peels or electrolysis 1 week prior to treatment

  • Limit use of Vitamin A/Retinol products on the brow area about 2 weeks prior to treatment

  • Avoid use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure

  • Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or other invasive facials 2 weeks prior to procedure

  • Please note; Your skin will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle- but you will be numbed :)
